Mission Statement
The mission of the West Virginia State Board of Landscape Architects is to protect the health, safety interest and welfare of the public and to provide for the regulation of landscape architecture in this state.
The Board is composed of three members, two landscape architects and one lay person. Appointed by the Governor and with the advice and consent of the Senate, members serve for staggered terms of three years.

Jason Testman, PLA, LEED AP BD+C is the Landscape Architect and Landscape Division manager at TerraCare, Inc., a landscape construction and grounds maintenance company servicing the state of WV and surrounding areas. Jason is licensed to practice Landscape Architecture in West Virginia and is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialization in Building Design and Construction.

Nathaniel C. Greene, PLA, ASLA joined the WV State Board of Landscape Architects in 2018 and currently serves as Board Secretary. He is licensed to practice Landscape Architecture in West Virginia and is a full member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Nathan is currently an Aquatic Resources Restoration Specialist at Allstar Ecology, LLC.

John Rudmann, PLA, PE, LEED AP BD+C has been the Treasurer for the WV State Board of Landscape Architects since 2012. He is currently a Project Manager for the Department of Energy. John is licensed to practice Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering in West Virginia and is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialization in Building Design and Construction.
